Delete your account

You are always in control of your data. Here’s how to remove your Lumo account.

From inside the app

Open Lumo on your phone.
Go to Settings → Account.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Tip: If you only want to take a break, you can turn off reminders at Settings → Notifications instead of deleting your account.

Subscription note: Deleting your Lumo account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it through the store where you subscribed if you do not want it to renew.

If you can’t access the app

Email privacy@lumobible.app from the email address connected to your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm your identity, complete the deletion, and reply when it is done.

What gets deleted

Your account and authentication details.
Your learning progress, completed lessons, and reflections.
Your memory practice and review schedule.
Your name, profile, and any social interactions tied to your account.

What we may keep

We may retain a minimal record (for example, that an account with your email was deleted) for fraud prevention, accounting, subscription dispute handling, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not keep your learning content or personal profile after deletion.

How long does deletion take?

Deletion from our active systems completes within a few minutes. Anonymized analytics and backups are purged within 30 days.
